Potash - not

Jim found a reference to some cool potash pools that are super purple and cool to see on the way to the next stop, Arches National Park. Alas, not enough research was done and we drove about an hour on a horrible horrible today only to get there and see a stop sign that said "your map/GPS is wrong, this is private property. No trespassing" with a giant locked gate. Sigh. Its not really even funny yet, it was so hard. It will be funny in a few days, probably. The fact that I didn't take any pics shows that it was much more stressful than fun. But on the way back, we stopped to dip our toes in the Colorado River and check out more petroglyphs we find by accident.

Those were both lovely experiences!
