Our third tunnel of the trip, I think. Definitely the least fancy, therefore the coolest
There was a fire not too far away that ended up growing quite big and needing to evacuate several neighborhoods of the next town over. I just checked it out and it's still not under control and is currently up to 2000 acres. Search up East Canyon fire 2020. We were never in jeopardy, but did see impressive billowing smoke and smelled the smoke the next morning.
Here is Geologic Overlook. I was told we couldn't get excited about anything geologic unless we were at this point, so here's the family being excited.
Back to the same campground that night and 2 more trips to the pool (4 trips total). Breakfast for dinner. A worrisome night of checking fire updates and off we went the next morning
