Yellowstone Day 1

Our vacation started in typical fashion for us, with some confusion. Jim had a last minute NY trip come up, so the kids and I drove to Sioux Falls Monday and he flew there Tuesday morning. That meant we had the day to mosey on over there and check out the falls again, 7 years after our first trip. The Falls Park is gorgeous and I highly recommend it.

These kids have no fears. We watched a rock climber for a while on some of the boulders and I had to stop them from trying it too. Wish I had taken some pictures of them climbing on the smaller rocks.

In case you need a reference for comparison, here's some pictures from our first trip to Sioux falls in  2010. These are mostly taken from the opposite bank as this year's pictures.

Family time!

Did you know we went on vacation? We're back and recuperating and I'm working on some detailed posts about our trip. In the mean time, enjoy these family selfies...

Duluth Air Show 2017

Jim took us all to the Duluth Air Show this past weekend as his birthday request. We all had so much fun! I am struck by how mature our children have become; no whining about walking, carrying their chair, heat, anything! The day was fantastic.
