Big fans of The Prairie Fire Children's Theater company here! They spend 5 days with 75 kids and make an production of a play that is really great. They travel around from town to town in the midwest and stop by our district a few times each year. This is Laura's 2nd time to participate and she had a blast!
This year, the play was Pinocchio. Her goal this year was to get a script (i.e. a big enough part to need to learn some lines). Joke is on you, Laura, because mimes don't have lines! But seriously, The Mime was a great part and she totally stole the show (in her mother's opinion). I even heard strangers complementing her, though, so its not just me. :)
The make up was really fun. Her's was obviously the most involved.
