Glacier, finally

Did you know we went to Montana last fall? Did you know Montana is astonishingly beautiful?
Here's the postcard-like pics we took from our trip to Glacier National park last fall. More posts to follow with more of a play by play.

Coronavirus week 2

We are starting out 2nd version of a daily schedule this week. Next week will change again because the kids will have some online schooling. We'll see how much time that will really fill. I hope it fills a lot !🙄

She's 14!

Laura turned 14 today! Coronavirus has definitely put a damper on activities with friends, but we had a nice time and I think she had fun. We made a scavenger hunt for her to find each present, her standard lemon cake with raspberry frosting and cherries on top, she spent a lot of the day drawing with some cool markers she got and wearing her new roller blades non-stop. We just put up the trampoline for the warmer season and they are still out there having a ball. Love this young lady!

This summer's trip home

Way back in July, we travelled back to Kansas and Oklahoma for a fun visit with both sides, including Jeff & fam.
I started this post long ago and never actually finished.
I've been wanting go to the Salt Flats in Northern Oklahoma for years, and the timing worked out this time!

Love this picture, thanks Kim!

Basically, you just sit and dig and find these cool crystals.

I liked this pic at the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve on the way home

High Trestle trail bridge - another stop we'd been talking about for a long time and it finally worked out.
