On the road to Kim's

Here are some shots from our road trip to Kim's last weekend.

Lots of great displays - live and dead. fish, insects, snakes, turtles, touchable stuff like pelts, bones, fossils, books, etc.

saw some dinosaur bones along the freeway and stopped for a better look.

The drive is very pretty right around the border/Mississippi River.

Last week, I accidentally dropped a mug on the floor and it broke. Bummer and a mess. Then I looked up and saw Adam gleefully dumping dry rice cereal all over the floor. I'm not sure how he got ahold of the box. Well, yes I am. I'm terrible at closing cabinets. Anyways, the new mess kept the kids busy and happy while I cleaned up the dangerous mess.

Big big snowflakes last week (we're back to fall weather this week)

Here's the vest I made for him. Its basically a box with arm and neck holes. terrible pattern. But its very warm and soft.

bummed that I didn't get any pics with Adam and my mom. I just wasn't very good with the camera at all this visit. Must do better next time! But we all had a great time and were sad to see her go!

Action Adam

Let's see, what is Adam up to lately? He starts swaying when he hears music, he thinks it is hilarious to run away when you chase after him, he loves to push the trash can lid and giggles when I tell him not to, he babbles a ton, his hair is growing in lighter than it started, he typically sleeps 12 hours and usually only eats once at night.
